Kelsey Doerksen has published her paper on AI-powered sub-seasonal forecasting of monsoon-triggered landslide impacts in Nepal in npj Natural Hazards, a Nature Portfolio journal.

Kelsey's publication demonstrates how an AIMS CDT first-year mini-project can develop into a peer-reviewed journal publication in a Nature Portfolio journal.

It is particularly encouraging for AIMS CDT students because it illustrates the potential of the programme's mini-projects to generate research with scientific and real-world impact, even at an early stage of doctoral training.
